Perfect for a celebration of life or a memorial, this expressive solo for low voice offers peace to listeners. “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more . . . Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting?” This work is excerpted from Trotta’s Requiem, a 40-minute concert work for choir, orchestra, soprano/mezzo duet, and baritone solo.
